Pahokee native Rickey Jackson was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday(February 6). He played for the Blue Devils and attended the University of Pittsburgh during the 1970's. He was a linebacker with the New Orleans Saints for most of his NFL career and finished with the San Francisco 49ers winning Super Bowl 29. Jackson is still involved with the town of Pahokee and has been a game analyst alongside Mike Dee for Pakokee football broadcasts on WSWN-AM Sugar 900 since 2006.
