The Florida Marlins placed Leo Nunez on the Major League Baseball's restricted list following reports that he lied about his name and his age. He had used an assumed name and he's one year older than he claimed. Nunez has returned to his homeland of the Dominican Republic on a personal matter and won't pitch for the rest of the 2011 season. He pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday night in a game against the Atlanta Braves at Sun Life Stadium. Nunez had 36 saves in 68 games pitched this season and had been the Florida Marlins closer since 2009.
