The Miami Marlins continued to make a splash in the free-agent market as the team signed all-star shortstop Jose Reyes on Sunday. He agreed to a six-year 106 million dollar contract to come to Miami. Reyes had been with the New York Mets since being signed by the team in 1999. During that time, he led the Mets to the National League Eastern Division title in 2006 and won the batting title in 2011. Reyes joined former San Diego Padres relief pitcher Heath Bell who signed with Miami as a free agent late last week for three years at 27 million dollars.
