WQAM Changes Midday Lineup

WQAM announced that there would be a change in their weekday schedule as of next Monday. The Gino Torretta Show with sidekick Steve White was being eliminated at the end of the year. Steve Goldstein and Adam Kuperstein would host their own show from 1 to 3 p.m. Goldstein is currently the Florida Panthers television play-by-play announcer and weekend host at WQAM. He was previously the morning sports anchor, weekday talk host and Florida Panthers studio host at the station. Kuperstein was recently moved at WTVJ-TV from a sportscaster position to morning news co-anchor at that station. In addition, he has been hosting weekend shows at WQAM. The Michael Irvin Show will be shifted from 12 to 3 p.m. to an earlier spot from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. White will remain as part of the WQAM sales staff. Torretta joined the station in early September 2010.
