Jason Jackson Joins WAXY

WAXY announced on Friday that Jason Jackson would be the new host on early afternoons. His show would run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays. He was once a weekend host at WAXY during the mid 2000's. Jackson previously hosted early afternoons at WQAM until late August 2008 and prior to that was a morning co-host at that station. He will continue to be the studio host and sideline reporter for Miami Heat games on Sun Sports. The Sports Brothers had hosted the early afternoon slot at WAXY until the end of last year. Eric Reed had filled in for the past month during that time period and will be the producer of the Jason Jackson show.
