Three Home Games At One Time

In a rare situation in South Florida, three local professional teams will play at home simultaneously. The Florida Panthers play their first playoff game since 2000 as they face the New Jersey Devils in game one of a seven-game series at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise. The Miami Marlins return home to play their second regular season game in their new stadium Marlins Park against the Houston Astros. Finally, the Miami Heat host the Charlotte Bobcats at the American Airlines Arena.All games will begin at 7:00 p.m. The last time three local professional teams played on the same day at home was December 27, 2009. The Miami Dolphins played the Houston Texans, the Miami Heat took on the Indiana Pacers and the Florida Panthers faced the Boston Bruins.
