The Miami Dolphins have acquired offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie from the Baltimore Ravens. He was with the Ravens since 2011 where he picked a Super Bowl title when they won Super Bowl 47 in New Orleans against the San Francisco 49ers back in February.
He was the seventh overall pick in the 2002 NFL Draft and the first-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings. He was with that club for nine seasons as an offensive left tackle.
McKinnie played for the University of Miami Hurricanes from 1999 until 2001. He won a national championship with that school in 2001 over the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He was given the Outland Trophy and the Jim Parker Award for his play in the 2001 season. He finished eighth in the voting for the Heisman Trophy that year.
