The Florida Panthers finished a home-and-home set in Philadelphia on Monday night as they lost to the Flyers l-O at Wells Fargo Center. The Panthers pounded the Flyers 7-l in Sunrise this past Saturday night. It was the first loss this season by the Cats while Philadelphia won their first game of the year on their third try.
It took almost six minutes into the first period for the Flyers to get a shot on net and they eventually scored on Roberto Luongo. Sam Gagner and Sean Couturier did a give-and-go pass play on the right side of the Panthers zone. Gagner took two shots from the low right circle which were saved by Luongo before Brayden swooped in and put the puck into the cage from the top of the crease area at 5:57.
