CBS Corporation CEO Les Moonves mentioned to investors on Tuesday that his organization is expected to sell the entire CBS Radio division of 117 radio stations in the United States within one year. That would include their Miami cluster of radio stations which consists of Miami Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM, WPOW-FM and WKIS-FM.
CBS purchased all three local radio stations in early October 2014 from Beasley Broadcasting. It was approved by the Federal Communications Commission in late November 2014. CBS Corporation will still have a local broadcast property with their television station WFOR-TV Channel 4 in Miami.
