Len Martez Goes To Tampa

     Former South Florida radio person Len Martez has joined WDAE-AM in Tampa as a sports reporter and part-time sports host. Martez is remembered locally as a producer, board operator and reporter on Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM. He held a position at that radio station from September 1997 until June 2007. Martez, a Towson State University grad, was occasionally mentioned on the midday show hosted by Neil Rogers.
     Martez moved on to WKEX-AM in Blacksburg, Virginia in late June 2007 where he became a weekday host, producer, account executive and sports director. He stayed in that organization until March 2008. Martez later landed in Charlotte and worked as a weekend host and reporter on WFNZ-AM from August 2009 to April 2014.
