Chris Wittyngham Leaves The Ticket

     Chris Wittyngham has left his host position with 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM and joined beIN Sports and CBS Sports Interactive. He worked at that radio station for the last four years and called NASL soccer games as a television play-by-play announcer on beIN Sports with former Fort Lauderdale Strikers player Thomas Rongen in 2016.
     Wittyngham, a University of Miami grad, had been the afternoon co-host with Ethan J. Skolnick on The Ticket since May and was an afternoon fill-in co-host since the beginning of the year. He was the evening co-host with Josh Friedman from July 2014 until July 2015. They both had an interim stint as the midday co-hosts from July 2015 to August 2015 and then returned to evenings for the rest of the year.
