The Miami Heat played their first game in nine days and stopped the Atlanta Hawks 108-90 at Philips Arena on Friday night. The Heat have won 15 of their last 17 games and are two games behind for a playoff spot.
Miami(26-32) had a 25-24 lead after one quarter and were up 63-49 at halftime. Atlanta(32-25) fell behind even more 87-66 after three quarters. It was garbage time for the rest of the contest. Tyler Johnson compiled 23 points, five assists and five rebounds for the Heat.
