Former South Florida sports radio host Damon Amendolara will have his show moved from evenings to late mornings on CBS Sports Radio Network. He will begin in his new time slot on April 17.
Amendolara was a late night host on Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM from early 2008 until August 2009, where he was known as DA. He also hosted a weekend show on that station. Amendolara, a 2001 Syracuse University grad, left to become an evening host on WBZ-FM in Boston from August 2009 to December 2012. He joined CBS Sports Radio Network when it launched in January 2013 as the overnight host.
He began his broadcasting career at Sports Radio 770 WWCN-AM in Fort Myers as an afternoon host. Amendolara then moved to Kansas City in 2003 and hosted an evening show. He later was promoted to become the morning host there in 2004.
