Day 2 of the 2017 NFL Draft happened on Friday night in Philadelphia. The Miami Dolphins selected two players during the second and third rounds. Both of them have won a CFP National Championship.
The Dolphins choose inside linebacker Raekwon McMillian with the 54th overall pick in the second round. He was part of the Ohio State University squad to capture a national championship in 2014. McMillian had 270 career tackles, 17 tackles for a loss and nine passes broken up in three seasons.
The Fins selected cornerback Condrea Tankersley in the third round with the 97th overall pick. He helped Clemson University win their second national championship in school history last season. Tankersley had compiled 149 tackles, nine interceptions and 22 passes broken up in 55 games.
