The Miami Heat stopped the Charlotte Hornets 105-100 at American Airlines Arena on Friday night. The Heat have won four of their last six games.
Charlotte(8-13) climbed out to a 30-22 lead after one quarter. Miami(11-11) fought back and had a slim 50-49 margin at halftime. The Heat stayed on top after three quarters 79-75 and outscored the Hornets 26-25 in the final quarter.
Josh Robinson showed up and had a game-high 27 points for the Heat. Dion Waiters dropped in 19 points and Wayne Ellington added 14 points. Charlotte had seven players with double digits in scoring. Marvin Williams had a team-high 14 points and Dwight Howard compiled a double-double with 10 points along with 10 rebounds.
