The Miami Heat went on the road and lost to the San Antonio Spurs 117-105 on Wednesday night. The Heat have fell in four of their last five games.
Miami(11-13) started off well as they got out to a 35-27 margin after one quarter and still led 58-57 at halftime. San Antonio(17-8) went on a 14-5 spurt and pulled ahead 86-82 after three quarters. The Spurs extended their lead as they outscored the Heat 31-23 in the final quarter.
Tyler Johnson had a game-high 25 points for Miami. Dion Waiters added 22 points while Josh Richardson dropped in 19 points. Eight players of San Antonio scored in double figures. They were led by LaMarcus Aldridge with 18 points and Rudy Gay had 16 points. Pau Gasol and Danny Green each compiled 12 points while Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker placed 10 points each.
