The Florida Panthers game against the Boston Bruins at TD Garden on Thursday night has been postponed. The severe winter storm in the Boston area is the reason.
No date or time has been announced for the rescheduled contest. That will be decided sometime in the near future. The Panthers will play their next game on Friday night in Detroit as they face the Red Wings.
The earliest the Panthers and Bruins game can be made up in Boston is January 22. Another day available is January 29 which is one day after the NHL All-Star Game in Tampa Bay. Both teams are in Vancouver to play the Canucks within days of each other and a neutral-site game can be played on February 15. Neither club has a two-game gap at the same time in March or the first week of April for the game to be played. It could be rescheduled one day after the regular season ends on April 8.
