One local player was on the squad of the Philadelphia Eagles when they won Super Bowl LII over the New England Patriots 41-33 on Sunday night at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Patrick Robinson was a defensive back for the winning team.
Robinson attended and played high school football with both South Miami and Gulliver Prep. He went on to Florida State University where he won a national championship with the Seminoles in 2013. It was his first season with the Eagles and had previously played with the New Orleans Saints, San Diego Chargers and Indianapolis Colts.
