The Miami Heat concluded a five-game home stand with a 125-103 win over the Phoenix Suns at American Airlines Arena on Monday night. The Heat were victorious in four of their last five games. The Suns now have the worst record in the National Basketball Association.
It all started with Miami(34-30) going ahead 30-27 after one quarter and extended it to 61-48 at halftime. Phoenix(19-47) stayed with the Heat and were down 93-80 after three quarters before they fell further behind in the fourth.
Hassan Whiteside compressed a double-double for Miami with a team-high 24 points along with 14 rebounds. Goran Dragic added 17 points and Kelly Olynyk dropped in 15 points. Dwyane Wade and Luke Babbit both contributed 12 points each. Devin Booker poured in a game-high 31 points for the Suns and T.J. Warren knocked down 19 points.
