The Miami Heat lost to the Indiana Pacers in overtime 113-107 on Sunday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The Heat fell in both games of their road swing and host LeBron James and the defending Eastern Conference champion Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night.
Miami(39-35) raced out 28-14 to begin the contest and were up 30-21 after one quarter. The Heat stayed ahead 53-52 at halftime. Indiana(43-31) got ahead 82-74 after three quarters before Miami came back and put the game into overtime. The Pacers outscored the Heat 17-11 in the extra frame.
Tyler Johnson led the Heat with 19 points while Dwyane Wade added 13 points. James Johnson fell short of a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds. Victor Oladipo had a game-high 23 points for the Pacers and Thaddeus Young contributed 22 points with nine rebounds.
