The Florida Panthers have two players that were named the last three finalists for two National Hockey League awards during the 2017-18 season. The NHL awards will be presented in Las Vegas on June 20.
Panthers center Aleksander Barkov was named a finalist for the Lady Byng Memorial Award for best conduct along with playing ability. Panthers goalie Roberto Luongo was chosen as a finalist for the Bill Masterston Memorial Award for perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication to hockey.
There have been several occasions in which a member of the Panthers club have won an individual annual NHL award. Jaromir Jagr was named the Bill Masterton Memorial Award winner in 2015-16. Pavel Bure won the Maurice Rocket Richard Trophy as the top goal scorer for two seasons in 1999-2000 and 2001-02.
