The Miami Marlins stopped the Colorado Rockies 4-1 at Marlins Park on Saturday night. The Marlins have won three of the last four games.
Miami(8-18) took a 1-0 lead in the first inning. J.T. Realmuto crossed the plate when Martin Prado grounded into a fielder's choice. Prado knocked in Starlin Castro with a double to right field in the third inning to give the Fish a 2-0 lead.
The Marlins expanded to a three-run margin in the bottom of the fourth. Derek Dietrich singled into right field for Lewis Brinson to score.
Colorado(15-13) picked up their lone run during the top of the sixth. Charlie Blackmon hit a solo home run to right field on a 2-1 count.
In the seventh inning, Miami made it 4-1. Dietrich lifted a solo homer to right on a 1-1 pitch.
