Several more former South Florida high school football players were choosen in the second day of the 2018 NFL Draft held in Arlington.
University of Miami defensive end Chad Thomas was picked up by the Cleveland Browns during the second round with the 67th overall selection. Thomas went to Booker T. Washington and helped the Tornadoes win two FHSAA Class 4A state championship in 2012 and 2013.
University of Central Florida wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the third round and 91st overall. He played high school football with the Village Academy Tigers in Delray Beach.
