The Miami Marlins pulled away from the Colorado Rockies 6-2 at Coors Field on Saturday. The Fish were able to stop a three-game losing streak.
Both clubs scored in the fourth inning. The Marlins got a solo home run from Derek Dietrich to right field on the first pitch. The Rockies matched it as Carlos Gonzalez scored on a sacrifice fly to center by Gerardo Parra.
Miami(30-47) staged a major rally in the top of the seventh. Justin Bour knocked in Yadiel Rivera with a base hit into center. J.T. Realmuto later blasted a grand-slam home run to right pitch on a 2-2 count. Bour, Starlin Castro and Brian Anderson all crossed the plate in front of him on the play to make it 6-1.
Colorado(38-39) placed a tally in the bottom of the frame. Parra ripped a solo home run to center field on the first pitch.
