The Atlanta Braves shut out the Miami Marlins 5-0 at Marlins Park on Thursday night. The Braves swept a four-game series against the Fish last week in Atlanta.
Atlanta(72-55) chalked up two run in the second inning. Charlie Culberson homered to left field on the first pitch and Ozzie Albies scored in front of him.
In the third inning, Ronald Acuna Jr. smashed a solo home run to left field on a 2-2 pitch to give the Braves a 3-0 lead.
Miami(51-78) surrendered two more runs during the top of the fifth. Ender Inciarte connected with a solo homer to right field on a 3-1 count. Johan Camargo later drove in Freddie Freeman on a double into right.
