Former South Florida sports host Sid Rosenberg will add a Sunday morning sports show on 77 WABC-AM in New York City on Septermber 9. He currently co-hosts the morning show with Bernard McGuirk on that station since April 2018. He joined WABC as a late-morning co-host in January 2016.
Rosenberg made several stops during his 10-year stay in South Florida. He joined Sports Talk 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM in late 2005 as a fill-in host and later co-host middays with O.J. McDuffie. He was elevated to morning host spot in 2007 and held the post until May 2009.
He moved on to Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM in August 2009 and became the midday host. Rosenberg was promoted to the afternoon shift in June 2010 and remained there until April 2012.
His final stop prior to WABC was at 640 Sports WMEN-AM. He was the morning host on that station from August 2012 to December 2015.
Rosenberg began his broadcasting career as a co-host with Scott Kaplan at CBS Sportsline in Fort Lauderdale during 1999 and 2000. The program was relocated to WNEW-FM in New York City and continued for one more year. Rosenberg was the morning sports anchor on Imus In The Morning at Sports Radio 66 WFAN-AM from 2000 until September 2005. He also co-host the midday shift on WFAN with Jody McDonald and later Joe Benigno from 2001 to September 2005. Rosenberg was the morning sports anchor on 1010 WINS-AM earlier this decade from December 2010 until January 2012.
