Former Miami Dolphins quarterback Scott Mitchell recently joined the University of Utah Radio Network as a football game analyst. He has worked as an evening sports talk host at KSL-AM in Salt Lake City.
Mitchell was drafted by the Dolphins in the 1990 NFL Draft. He played four seasons with the Fins and is best remembered for filling in for an injured Dan Marino during the 1993 season. Mitchell signed as a free agent with the Detroit Lions in 1994 and played with that team for five seasons. His other stints in the NFL included being with the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals.
