The Park Vista Cobras travel to Boca Raton and face the Spanish River Sharks on Friday night. Both schools are unlikely to overtake Atlantic for the District 10 crown in Class 8A.
Park Vista(3-3. 2-1) have gone by a pattern of win one game and lose one game during the regular season. The Cobras were beaten by top Palm Beach County teams Dwyer, Atlantic and Wellington. They are 3-1 on the road and did got a victory at Boca Raton 24-14 last week.
The Cobras will depend on their rushing attack with running back Nick King getting most of the opportunities followed by Joshua Jean. The primary targets for quarterback Tyler Thomas are wide receivers Aydin Henningham, Mason Proch and Lucas Deininger.
It has been a tough campaign for Spanish River(0-7, 0-4) this season. The Sharks have only lost one game by less than double digits and been shut out twice. They have been outscored 298-58 this year.
Connor Tribby leads the offense for the Sharks. He will look to connect passes to wide receivers Benny Alfonso and Blake Goldberg.
