The Indiana Pacers got by the Miami Heat 99-91 on Friday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Miami will play their next game at home against former Heat player LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.
Miami(6-9) rolled out to a 27-18 lead after one quarter. Indiana(9-6) erased the deficit and were up 50-43 at halftime. Both teams stayed close to each other in the second half.
The Heat were led by Josh Richardson with a game-high 28 points. Hassan Whiteside got a double-double with 12 points and a game-high 15 rebounds. Tyreke Evans compiled a double-double for the Pacers with team-high 23 points along with 10 rebounds.
