The Miami Heat lost to the Washington Wizards 116-110 at American Airlines Arena on Saturday night. The Heat played their third game at home in the last four days.
Miami(5-7) blasted out to a 35-25 lead after the first quarter and had a 61-58 lead at halftime. Washington(3-9) was down 85-83 after three quarter and then outscored the Heat 33-25 in the fourth to get the victory.
Josh Richardson drained in 24 points while Rodney McGruder dropped in 22 points for Miami. Hassan Whiteside nailed a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds. John Wall had a game-high 28 points and nine assists for the Wizards. Dwight Howard compiled a double-double of 11 points and 17 rebounds.
