The Miami Dolphins had their postseason hopes dashed as they lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars 17-7 at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday. The Dolphins made the playoffs last year as an AFC Wild Card.
Miami(7-8) made it 7-0 at 9:49 of the first quarter. Quarterback Ryan Tannenhill found running back Brandon Bolden on a four-yard touchdown pass.
Jacksonville(5-10) tied the contest 7-7 with 2:29 left in the first. Running back Leonard Fournette rushed in the ball from one yard away.
In the fourth quarter, Kai Forbath kicked a 26-yard field goal to give the Jaguars their first lead 10-7 with 10:59 to go. Telvin Smith capped the victory as he intercepted a pass from Tannenhill and returned it 33 yards with 9:43 remaining.
