The Miami Heat beat the Milwaukee Bucks 94-87 on Saturday night at American Airlines Arena. The Heat, who won their 500th game at American Airlines Arena, extended their winning streak to four games and have been victorious in eight of their last 11 contests. The Bucks entered the game with the second best record in the Eastern Conference.
Miami(15-16) busted out to a 21-8 lead after one quarter. The second quarter belonged to Milwaukee(22-10) as they had a 38-37 edge at halftime. The Heat outscored their opponent 35-20 in the third to go ahead 72-58. The Bucks began the final quarter on a 23-10 run and were down by one point, however they never regained the lead as Miami went on a 10-2 spurt.
Josh Richardson had a team-high 16 points while Dwyane Wade contributed 13 points and eight rebounds for the Heat. Hassan Whiteside compiled a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Khris Middletown dropped in a game-high 18 points for the Bucks. Giannis Antetokounmpo fell short of a double-double with nine points and 13 rebounds.
