Former Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Bob Kuechenberg passed away on Saturday at the age of 71. He was with the Dolphins from 1970 to 1984.
Kuechenberg was the only player in franchise history on the roster of all five Super Bowl games that the Miami Dolphins participated in. He was part of the undefeated team that won Super Bowl VII over the Washington Redskins and the following season was victorious over the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl VIII. They are the only Super Bowl titles ever captured by the Dolphins franchise.
He was on the losing end in three Super Bowls with the Fins. They lost Super Bowl VI to the Dallas Cowboys, Super Bowl XVII to the Washington Redskins and Super Bowl XIX to the San Francisco 49ers.
