The Miami Heat began a five-game home stand and topped the Cleveland Cavaliers 126-110 at American Airlines Arena on Friday night. The Heat have been victorious in four straight and five of their last six games.
Cleveland(16-50) had a 29-28 edge at the end of the first quarter. Miami(31-34) stayed close and the game was tied 57-57 at halftime. The Heat moved ahead 94-83 after three quarters and they went on a 15-6 run late in the final quarter for the victory.
Josh Richardson had a team-high 20 points while Bam Adebayo added 17 points. Justice Winslow fell short of a triple-double with 16 points, nine assists and eight rebounds. Collin Sexton dropped in a game-high 27 points for the Cavaliers and Kevin Love contributed 19 points.
