The Miami Heat trounced the Brooklyn Nets 117-88 on Saturday night at American Airlines Arena. The Heat have won two of their last six games. The Nets have fallen in their last three games.
Miami(28-34) was ahead 28-23 after one quarter and stayed in front 54-44 at halftime. The Heat got the lead out to 16 points as they had a 67-51 lead near the midway point of the third. Brooklyn(32-33) trailed 84-64 after three quarters.
Kelly Olynyk powered in a game-high 25 points for the Heat. Rodney McGruder added 17 points and Bam Adebayo fell short of a double-double with nine points along with 16 rebounds. Joe Harris led the Nets with 15 points.
