Some South Florida radio stations will have baseball broadcasts for the 2019 season. The Miami Marlins games will once again be on local iHeartMedia radio stations at the flagship Miami Sports 940 WINZ-AM in Miami and Sports Radio 1230 The Zone WBZT-AM in West Palm Beach. Dave Van Horne along with Glenn Geffner return as the radio play-by-play announcers for the club on the Miami Marlins Radio Network. Van Horne has been at the post since 2001 while Geffner''s tenure began in 2008. Kyle Sielaff will host their pregame and postgame shows. The Marlins will appear on WINZ for the sixth straight season.
640 The Hurricane WMEN-AM will have the New York Yankees Radio Network beamed in. John Sterling is the play-by-play announcer and Suzyn Waldman is the game analyst. Sweeny Murti will handle the postgame show. WMEN has been the South Florida home of the New York Yankees since 2008.
ESPN Radio will have baseball game broadcasts on Sunday nights and on some Saturdays. They will also have the annual All-Star Game and the entire Major League Baseball postseason which includes the 2019 World Series. Sports Talk 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM in Miami and ESPN West Palm 106.3 WUUB-FM in West Palm Beach will carry those broadcasts.
