The Glades Central Raiders head east and face the Park Vista Cobras at the Snake Pit on Thursday night. Both teams look to stay in playoff contention.
Glades Central(4-3) have interchanged wins and losses this year and are not able to gain traction. The Raiders have not played a game in two weeks since they handled Dwyer 16-6. Marion Moreland takes the reigns as starting quarterback with Zomarion Harper as his backup. The Raiders have skilled wide receivers with Densa Washington, Ja'Vontae Williams and Romaud Porter. Running back Jaheim Humphries will get the majority of carries from the backfield.
Park Vista(5-3) can not forward to next week when they challenge Santaluces for the District 11 title in Class 8A. Three of their five wins this season have been shutout victories and it includes a 35-0 victory over Lake Worth last week. They can go with Gio Thomas and Riley Klaus at quarterback. Wide receivers Frantz Derival, Courtney Carter and Woodlife Alminord can make pass receptions down the field. The Cobras will split their carries between running backs Markel King and Joshua Jean.
