The Spanish River Sharks take on the Lake Worth Trojans at Bill Harvey Stadium on Thursday night. Both schools are not expected to make the postseason in 2019.
Spanish River(0-7) is winless this year and have been outscored 264-47 in 2019. They were blanked by Santaluces 40-0 two weeks ago and pounded by Deerfield Beach 64-0 last week. The Sharks will use a spread offensive formation. They will depend on quarterback Drew Alexandris to guide the team on offense.
Lake Worth(1-5) won their season opener at Olympic Heights 26-7. They have lost five consecutive games since to Jupiter, Seminole Ridge, Santaluces, Forest Hill and Park Vista. The Trojans can rely on both quarterback Ke'andre Hollis and running back Del Louidor with an offense that will primarily rush the ball. Wide receivers Jocely Celin and Brendan Dennis could make an occasional catch.
