The Miami Heat slammed the Cleveland Cavaliers 124-100 on Wednesday night at American Airlines Arena. It was the second time that the Heat were victorious over the Cavs in the last six days.
Miami(10-3) moved out to a 32-22 lead during the first quarter and were way in front 75-48 at halftime. The Heat tied a franchise record with 75 points in the first half which they set in November 1997 against the Los Angeles Clippers. Cleveland(4-10) barely closed the gap and trailed 99-77 after three quarters.
Duncan Robinson helped the Heat on the rout with a game-high 29 points. Jimmy Butler dropped in 21 points and Tyler Herro added 22 points. Kevin Love led the Cavaliers with a double-double of 25 points and 13 rebounds.
