The Miami Heat took the New York Knicks 129-114 on Friday night at American Airlines Arena. The Heat came off a three-game road trip.
Miami(21-8) rocketed out to a 39-20 lead after one quarter and were ahead 70-47 by halftime. New York(7-22) was unable to cut into the lead and they trailed 98-74 after three quarters.
Bam Adebayo guided the Heat with 20 points and eight rebounds. Duncan Robinson and Goran Dragic both contributed 18 points. Bobby Portis had a game-high 30 points for the Knicks and Mitchell Robinson added 18.
