The Miami Heat defeated the San Antonio Spurs 106-100 on Wednesday night at American Airlines Arena. It was the only home contest for the Heat in a six-game stretch.
Miami(28-12) moved out to a 24-17 lead after the end of the first quarter. San Antonio(17-22) bounced back and were tied with the Heat 54-54 by halftime. The Spurs had a slight two-point lead at the end of the third, however the Heat outscored them 31-23 in the final quarter.
The Heat were led by Kendrick Nunn with a game-high 33 points. Goran Dragic dropped in 17 points while Bam Adebayo compiled a double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds. DeMar DeRozan had a team-high 30 points for the Spurs.
