The Miami Heat came back on the Sacramento Kings 118-113 on Monday night at American Airlines Arena. It was the first game for the Heat of a five-game home stand. The Heat stayed in second place in the Eastern Conference while the Kings have the second worst record in the Western Conference
Sacramento(15-28) had a 24-21 lead at the end of one quarter and had a slight edge 58-56 at halftime. Miami(30-13) still trailed by two points after three quarters 78-76, however they evened it 105-105 to go into overtime. The Heat outscored the Kings 13-8 in the extra session.
Kendrick Nunn had a game-high 25 points for Miami while James Johnson gathered 22 points. Bam Adebayo added a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Nemanja Bjelica led the Kings with 22 points and Marvin Bagley III put together a double-double with 15 points along with 15 rebounds.
