The Miami Heat pounded the Philadelphia 76ers 137-106 on Monday night at American Airlines Arena. It is the last home game for the Heat prior to the NBA All-Star Game break. Their next six games will be on the road.
Philadelphia(31-20) kept it close as they were down 30-26 after one quarter and trailed 56-52 by halftime. Miami(34-15) outscored the Sixers by 16 points in the third and led 97-77. The Heat scored 81 points during the second half.
Jimmy Butler carried the Heat with a game-high 38 points. Goran Dragic added 24 points while Bam Adebayo had a double-double of 18 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds. Joel Embiid led the 76ers with 27 points and 12 rebounds.
