The Utah Jazz held off the Miami Heat 116-101 on Wednesday night at Vivint.SmartHome Arena. The Heat completed their five-game road trip with a 1-4 record prior to the NBA All-Star Game break. Miami will play 16 of their remaining 28 contests of the regular season at home.
It was close after one quarter with Miami(35-19) ahead 28-25. They held a five-point margin at halftime of 52-47. Utah(36-18) overtook the Heat and got up 79-74 after three quarters. The Jazz expnaded their lead late in the fourth quarter.
The Heat were led by Jimmy Butler with 25 points while Duncan Robinson dropped in 20 points. Bam Adebayo fell short of a double-double with nine points and 10 rebounds. Donovan Mitchell had a game-high 26 points for Utah and Bojan Bogdanovic got 22 points.
