The Sacramento Kings surprised the Miami Heat 105-97 on Friday night at Golden1 Center. The Heat, who have their second two-game losing streak this season, continued their long road trip out west. They lost consecutive games in Brooklyn on January 10 and New York on January 12.
Sacramento(20-31) jumped out on an 11-3 spurt and led 30-28 at the end of one quarter. Miami(34-17) stayed on pace and trailed 52-50 at halftime. The Kings extended the gap to 83-76 after three quarters and they started the fourth on a 21-12 run.
Bem Adedayo dropped in a team-high 26 points for Heat. Duncan Robinson added 18 points while Kendrick Nunn scored 16 points. Bogdan Bogdanovic had a game-high 23 points for the Kings and Buddy Hield pumped in 21 points.
