Former linebacker Jonathan Vilma has joined Fox Sports as an NFL game analyst. No word on which play-by-play announcer he will be paired with in the broadcast booth.
He became a part of ESPN in 2016 as a college football studio analyst. He added duties as a Saturday college football studio analyst on ABC Sports in July 2018.
Vilma played high school football with the Coral Springs Colts. He moved on to college and helped the University of Miami Hurricanes capture the 2001 BCS National Championship over Nebraska.
He was drafted by the New York Jets in 2004 and was with them for four seasons. Vilma was traded to the New Orleans Saints in February 2008 and delivered them a title in Super Bowl XLIV over the Indianapolis Colts at Sun Life Stadium in Miami.
