The Florida Panthers will name Bill Zito as the new general manager of the club on Wednesday. He replaces Dale Tallon who held the position for 10 years. The Panthers made the postseason three times and captured two division titles during his long reign.
Zito leaves the Columbus Blue Jackets where he was the vice president of hockey operations since the middle of 2019. He joined the Blue Jackets in 2013 as an assistant general manager.
