The Miami Dolphins have named Ryan Fitzpatrick as their starting quarterback for the start of the 2020 NFL season. Their first game will be on Sunday at New England against the AFC East champion Patriots.
He was able to beat out the Dolphins first-round draft pick Tua Tagovailoa for the spot. Fitzpatrick, who joined Miami last season, completed 311 passes for 3,529 yards and 20 touchdowns in 15 games.
