Miami Marlins Games Back On WINZ

     The Miami Marlins radio broadcasts return to Miami Sports 940 WINZ-AM. The Marlins signed a multi-year extension during the offseason to remain there. The Marlins have been on WINZ since the 2014 season. 

     There will be a different scenario this season in the radio broadcast booth. Their primary radio play-by-play announcers Dave Van Horne and Glenn Geffner will not announce all 162 regular season games this season. Van Horne will work one-third(54 games) and Geffner will work two-thirds(118 games) of the 2021 campaign. J.P. Arencibia, Gaby Sanchez and Kelly Sacco will be brought in as fill-in game analysts and work with one play-by-play announcer, either Van Horne or Geffner, for a portion of the season. All three new radio game analysts have worked on Marlins television broadcasts in some capacity.
