Sandy Leon Joins Cleveland Guardians

     Former Miami Marlins catcher Sandy Leon has joined the Cleveland Guardians. It is a minor league contract and he will be invited to their spring training camp. 

     Leon lasted just one season with the Marlins and participated in 83 games. He had a .183 batting average, .237 on-base percentage, .267 slugging percentage, four home runs and 14 runs batted in.
